Beautify Me Vancouver

Here is our story and how this came to be:

On November 30^th 2010 my Uncle and LURE Salon’s co-owner, Dan Nguyen, was diagnosed with Leukemia.  When a loved one is suddenly faced with the diagnosis of a blood cancer, you desperately want to hear that there is hope and that a treatment is available. We are so grateful for the Hematology Research and Clinical Trials Unit at VGH and their commitment to provide patients with the newest and most effective treatments available. Without this my Uncle Dan wouldn’t be here with us. We are so blessed that he is healthy, we decided to get involved and give back.

We are hosting the second annual ‘Beautify Me Vancouver’. This year’s event will be held on Thursday April 24, 2014 at the FAIRMONT PACIFIC RIM in the Sapphire Room.

Doors at 6:30pm and Show at 8pm.

This year’s event will be hosted by respected CBC news anchor, Gloria Macarenko. Fashions will be provided by Bacci’s, Boboli, Christine Lingerie, Catherine Regehr and jewellery by Frey Wille. We’ll be hosting a live auction as well as some very special dance performances.

 Please join us to raise money for the Hematology Research and Clinical Trials Unit at VGH and to bring awareness to the importance blood donation and bone marrow registration.
